Recreation & respite

Out and about or just staying in our recreational opportunities are sure to please the very young and the young at heart. Whether it's a Halloween dance or a trip to the mall, children, teens and adults will enjoy specific activities and special events geared toward their age group. These activities are more than just fun - they are designed to build self-esteem, encourage healthy relationships, and increase independence and involvement in the community. All activities are supervised by trained staff and provide for personal safety and social stimulation.

In Seneca County, staff is available to provide care for individuals in their home at no cost to the family. This gives the person some relaxed time at home while the parent or caregiver gets time away. This respite care can be scheduled on a regular basis, for a special event, or in time of crisis.
